En los Servicios de Recursos de Empleo SUD (LDS Jobs) te ayudaremos a obtener un empleo remunerado a través de la formación académica y la red de contactos con empresas locales.Ya sea que esté empezando su carrera o que tenga vasta experiencia profesional, los Servicios de Recursos de Empleo (SRE) SUD o los Servicios de Autosuficiencia (SA) le ayudarán a alcanzar sus metas profesionales. El centro de empleo o de autosuficiencia ofrece asesoría individual, talleres y una extensa base de datos con oportunidades de empleo, formación académica y autoempleo. Al visitar un centro aprenderá las prácticas de búsqueda de empleo más eficaces, establecerá una red de contactos y encontrará recursos que le ayudarán a continuar sus estudios o a administrar una pequeña empresa con éxito.

Le recomendamos que inicie sesión y que empiece a crear su perfil en ldsjobs.org antes de visitar el centro de empleo. Si no hubiera un centro de empleo o de autosuficiencia cercano que le permita visitarlo, ldsjobs.org ofrece muchos recursos en línea. Si lo desea, un asesor de empleo también podrá ofrecerle asistencia por teléfono o por correo electrónico.

At the request of Priesthood Leader’s and parents the Springville Employment Resource Center is pleased to host a scholarship night. The information provided can assist students who plan to further their education after completing their high school studies.

This meeting will be held on the Second and Fourth Wednesday evenings from 6:30pm-8:30pm. This will be here at our center. All high school age students, their parents and YM& YW leaders are encouraged to attend.

These presentations are taught by Springville ERC Scholarship and Education Specialist, Sister Lori Passey. The best way to reach her with questions is by email at ldsjobs.springville4@churchservicemail.org

PURPOSE

  • To help students and parents find non-academic based money sources to defray or reduce the cost of a college education.
  • Help the youth to organize their search to work more efficiently.
  • Help parents and youth leaders understand the process and assist their students to find money to pay for educational expenses.

OUTCOME

  • Students will receive the tools necessary to effectively search for non-academic scholarships to pay for tuition, books,etc. throughout their college endeavors.
  • Alternative post high school educational opportunities will be discussed.
