Les services d'aide à l'emploi de l'Église (LDS Jobs ou Emplois SDJ) vous aideront à trouver un emploi rémunéré par le biais de formations et grâce à un réseau de contacts avec les entreprises locales.Que vous soyez en début de carrière ou qu’elle soit déjà bien établie, les services d’aide à l’emploi de l’Église (SAE) ou les services d’aide à l’autonomie (SAA) peuvent vous aider à atteindre vos buts professionnels. Le centre d’aide à l’emploi et le centre d’aide à l’autonomie offrent des aides individuelles, des ateliers et une large base de données sur l’emploi, l’instruction et les possibilités d’auto-entreprise. En visitant le centre vous pouvez apprendre les méthodes de recherche d’emploi les plus efficaces, construire votre réseau et trouver des ressources pour vous aider à poursuivre vos études ou à gérer une bonne entreprise.

Nous vous invitons à ouvrir une session et à commencer à créer votre profil sur ldsjobs.org avant de vous rendre au centre d’aide à l’emploi. Même s’il n’y a pas de centre d’aide à l’emploi ou d’aide à l’autonomie assez proche de vous pour vous y rendre, ldsjobs.org offre de nombreuses documentations en ligne. Si vous le souhaitez, un conseiller peut aussi vous aider par téléphone ou par courriel.

The good news is that interviewing is a skill that you can learn. With the right tips and techniques and practice you can become a master of sharing your value with potential employers and presenting yourself effectively. Please come dressed for a job interview.

Come and learn how to identify your skills, build a resume, interview, and succeed once you land your job. This is also a great resource for anyone who may be underemployed. The workshop is designed to be very interactive, motivating, and fun. It is held on the second and fourth week of each month on Tuesday and Wednesday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Materials are provided. You will have an increased confidence in your ability to be successful in your career goals. Individuals who take the Career Workshop and apply what they learn are able to shorten the time they spend looking for work. Please come dressed for a job interview.

Returned Missionary Employment Orientation Seminar

The Riverton Employment Resource Center holds a monthly Returned Missionary Employment Orientation Seminar on the Second Tuesday of each month 7:00 to 9:00 pm.  This event covers the following:

            •Introduction to job searching including networking, resumes, interviewing

            •Scholarship and education funding

            •LDSJobs.org•Skills training available to help individuals develop a marketable skill set

            •One-on-one coaching 

This free two-hour seminar is designed to assist returned missionaries during their adjustment period back into post-missionary life. 

Demonstration on How to Earn Scholarships

Learn the 3 keys to earning scholarships: how to find them, how to reduce the time to complete an application, and how to say the right things so that they want to give you the money. One returned missionary earned $90,000 in 9 months using what we demonstrate. We dish it out with a firehouse, but offer free coaching to those who want to do more.

Self-Employment Workshop Monthly – 3rd Tuesday 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm (Classes will be held at the Sandy Employment Resource Center – 817 E. 9400 S. Sandy, Utah) 


Starting a new business can be a confusing and a very intimidating task. LDS Employment Resources (Sandy and Riverton offices) has created a new self-employment orientation workshop that will help attendees understand the pros and cons of starting and owning a small business together with the steps that should be followed in establishing one. It will also help owners of existing small business recognize steps they can follow to make their enterprises more successful. During this two hour workshop, we introduce the essential elements to making a new, small business successful. Topics covered include

· Rewards and drawbacks of business ownership

· Business entry strategies

· Legal and regulatory compliance

· Business planning

· Choosing a form of business ownership

· Debt and equity financing

· Sources of business assistance.
