Les services d'aide à l'emploi de l'Église (LDS Jobs ou Emplois SDJ) vous aideront à trouver un emploi rémunéré par le biais de formations et grâce à un réseau de contacts avec les entreprises locales.Que vous soyez en début de carrière ou qu’elle soit déjà bien établie, les services d’aide à l’emploi de l’Église (SAE) ou les services d’aide à l’autonomie (SAA) peuvent vous aider à atteindre vos buts professionnels. Le centre d’aide à l’emploi et le centre d’aide à l’autonomie offrent des aides individuelles, des ateliers et une large base de données sur l’emploi, l’instruction et les possibilités d’auto-entreprise. En visitant le centre vous pouvez apprendre les méthodes de recherche d’emploi les plus efficaces, construire votre réseau et trouver des ressources pour vous aider à poursuivre vos études ou à gérer une bonne entreprise.

Nous vous invitons à ouvrir une session et à commencer à créer votre profil sur ldsjobs.org avant de vous rendre au centre d’aide à l’emploi. Même s’il n’y a pas de centre d’aide à l’emploi ou d’aide à l’autonomie assez proche de vous pour vous y rendre, ldsjobs.org offre de nombreuses documentations en ligne. Si vous le souhaitez, un conseiller peut aussi vous aider par téléphone ou par courriel.

  • A gathering place for Church members and others seeking to become more self-reliant through employment, education, and self-employment
  • Personalized coaching and career planning
  • Access to the internet, computers, phones, printer, and copier
  • Job postings and lists of local employers
  • Assistance with resumes and cover letters
  • Interview preparation, including video-taped practice interviews
  • Information about local education and training programs, including scholarship and financial aid information
  • Information about local self-employment resources, including NGOs and microcredit institutions

Tech Talks is a monthly software engineering and developer discussion meetup that has merged with PHP and JavaScript user groups. Our aim is to be platform agnostic and to focus on overall concepts and practices. We are open to everyone. An exciting way to debate platforms, logic patterns, languages, and systems. Come network and discuss with developers and technologists as we talk about emerging technologies. Whether you're a student, engineer, or employer, we would love to have you! Free to attend and free food and drinks. The group cycles each quarter: first month is the PHP user group, second month is the JavaScript user group, and third month is a Tech Talks topic from a different technology.
