Les services d'aide à l'emploi de l'Église (LDS Jobs ou Emplois SDJ) vous aideront à trouver un emploi rémunéré par le biais de formations et grâce à un réseau de contacts avec les entreprises locales.Que vous soyez en début de carrière ou qu’elle soit déjà bien établie, les services d’aide à l’emploi de l’Église (SAE) ou les services d’aide à l’autonomie (SAA) peuvent vous aider à atteindre vos buts professionnels. Le centre d’aide à l’emploi et le centre d’aide à l’autonomie offrent des aides individuelles, des ateliers et une large base de données sur l’emploi, l’instruction et les possibilités d’auto-entreprise. En visitant le centre vous pouvez apprendre les méthodes de recherche d’emploi les plus efficaces, construire votre réseau et trouver des ressources pour vous aider à poursuivre vos études ou à gérer une bonne entreprise.

Nous vous invitons à ouvrir une session et à commencer à créer votre profil sur ldsjobs.org avant de vous rendre au centre d’aide à l’emploi. Même s’il n’y a pas de centre d’aide à l’emploi ou d’aide à l’autonomie assez proche de vous pour vous y rendre, ldsjobs.org offre de nombreuses documentations en ligne. Si vous le souhaitez, un conseiller peut aussi vous aider par téléphone ou par courriel.

Teaches Individuals how to identify and present their strengths in a "Me in 30 Seconds" statement, build dynamic power statements based on accomplishments, create effective written communications, develop job leads, and learn the basics of networking.  Workshops for specific groups are also offered.  

Interviewing can be a nerve-wracking ordeal.  People feel uncomfortable "selling" themselves and fielding unexpected questions.  The good news is that interviewing is a skill that can be learned.  With the right tips, techniques and practice you can learn to share your value and present yourself effectively to the employer.

Self Reliance Support and Resource Orientation

The meeting is to acquaint leaders about self reliance and resources available at the LDS Employment Resource Center.   Employment coaching/mentoring,  job search skills workshops, interviewing workshops, networking, resume assistance, accelerated job search (AJS) are introduced to the leaders.  Education and skills development  opportunities are briefly discussed.  The leaders are given an overview of the self-employment meeting and the hiring events that are regularly held at the Center.
