Indianapolis Indiana Employment Resource Center
Whether just starting out in your career or well established in your career, LDS Employment Resource Services (ERS) or Self-Reliance Services (SRS) can help you accomplish your career goals. The employment center or self-reliance center offers one-on-one coaching, workshops and a large database of employment, education and self-employment opportunities. By visiting the center you learn the most effective job search practices, build your network and find resources to help you further your education or manage a successful small-business.
We recommend that you log-in and begin creating your profile on ldsjobs.org prior to visiting the employment center. Even if an employment center or self-reliance center is not close enough for you to visit, ldsjobs.org offers many online resources. If you desire, an employment advisor can also provide assistance over the telephone or through e-mail.
We are holding a Career Workshop for anyone who is seeking employment or is under employed. The class will cover interviewing, networking and resumes. It is an excellent interactive class that will increase your self-confidence and help shorten your job search. The class is also excellent for leaders who want to hone their skills to help the members in their wards and stakes.
The class will be held at the Indianapolis Bishops' Central Storehouse at 5151 West 84th Street. The class is free and lunch and snacks will be provided. If you have any questions please call Elder & Sister Flint at 812-390-1586.
To register for the class please call the Detroit ERC Office at 248-553-0405. Also, please register on line at ldsjobs.org as a candidate as well.
