The employment center or self-reliance center offers one-on-one coaching, workshops and a large database of employment, education and self-employment opportunities. By visiting the center you learn the most effective job search practices, build your network and find resources to help you further your education or manage a successful small-business.

We recommend that you log-in and begin creating your profile on prior to visiting the employment center. Even if an employment center or self-reliance center is not close enough for you to visit, offers many online resources. If you desire, an employment advisor can also provide assistance over the telephone or through e-mail.

Job Seekers Job Training Seminar

Individuals who take this Seminar and apply what they learn find jobs faster and earn more money.  This is a one-day event held on Saturday  from 9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. It includes:

-Motivating and inter active content, generating energy, confidence, and skills for job seekers to successfully regain employment.

-Evaluation of talents,interests, and values and the setting of goals to develop a plan to achieve them.

-Identification and development of necessary resources needed to reach the job objective.

-How to make powerful impressions while networking, conducting interviews, and in writing résumés,curricula vitae, cover letters, thank-you notes, and applications. We also  include a mock interview.

-Help to negotiate salary and benefits and to be successful in a new job.
