Me In Thirty Seconds and Resume Writing Skills
The Career Workshop - "Me in Thirty Seconds" and “Resume Writing"- teaches essential skills for being successful during an employment interview or when networking. Obtaining a confident introduction is taught. The initial "Me in Thirty Seconds" is the answer to the question, "Tell me about you!" Participants are taught to illustrate an answer to interviewer's question with a work-place example of a challenge, an action taken, and the result. "Me in Thirty Seconds" statements focus on the attributes and accomplishments most pertinent to the prospective employer. At 11:30 am the Resume Writing class will be taught. Participants will learn how to write an effective resume that will get the attention of the employer. Participants leave this Workshop with the start of a great resume that describes your skills, talents, achievements, education, training, and accomplishments. These Workshops are free.
