Job Search Skills Workshops
Four key elements of a job search include writing résumés, finding job leads, networking, and preparing for interviews. You can get training on each of these topics by joining one of the workshops below. Each session lasts one hour and is run by an employment professional. Please note that these sessions are not available on any major U.S. holidays.

Do you know how to talk about your skills, experiences, and career goals in a way that is brief but powerful? In this workshop, you will learn about the power of networking and how to create an effective elevator pitch that will help you to expand your network of contacts and open new doors of opportunity.

What are the most common interview questions, and how can you answer them in a way that will give you an edge over the competition? This workshop teaches you how to create power statements and explores other tips and strategies for how to have a successful job interview.
